Moo: why do the ambulance and fire department and police all have the same number?

Mama: because they are folks you call in an emergency, its easier for them

Moo:You can call the police if you have a fire and they can call the fire mens?

Mama: well, they have a 'dispatcher' who takes the phone call and then the dispatcher decides who needs to come to your house. Do you remember the phone number for emergencies?

Moo: 9 and 1 and then another 1

Mama: Good job

Moo:The knights have the same number.

Mama: What?

Moo: if there is a dragon at your house then you can call 911!! and the knights will come to protect you!

Mama: hunh.

Moo: there are four people to save us, the first is the fireman the second is the police and the third one is the ambulance and the last one is THE KNIGHT!

Mama: pretty much.

First day...Second Son

Number two started preschool today. These pictures were taken after school. After nap, after snack, and after he fell at the playground and scuffed up his chin. Day one.



He wore his brother shoes. The same shoes I bought for brother for his first day of preschool two years ago.



Can it really have been two years? Two years since I dropped my moo off at Preschool?



I guess so. So big they are.
