We Have Walking
No pics for this entry but I just had to login to record that we officially have walking on purpose. He was standing unsupported, which isn't unusual these days. He will often stand there for a few moments or seconds and then get down and crawl to where he wants to go and then pull himself up with the aid of some handy object, parent or animal, but this time he took one step, then another, then another towards his mother who was sitting on the floor about four feet away. We all clapped and cheered him on. He kept taking a step, pausing, then doing it again. He got more and more excited each time and was squealing and laughing. Then there was a bout of serious waving, two more steps, and then he reached Mom. We tried to get him to do it again several time but had no luck - maybe tomorrow.

Congradulations! I was wondering when kids get bipedal, thus I was just reading something today, it said one yearish, and your kidlet just turned one. Imagine that.
Hooray! Tell Tommy that walking is just controlled falling, and he'll be a champ!
That's awesome.. Good job Thomas!!

Dear Tom: Good job.
Dear Scott: It's time to lock up the Coors Original and the garage full of machetes.
